two recently wed brides who each had their wedding receptions at LeMont.

Dear Mr. & Mrs. Dunlap:

I am writing to tell you how pleased my new husband and I were with our wedding reception at LeMont on November 8, 2003. Our day turned out fantastic thanks to the wonderful staff at LeMont, especially Gio and Lea.

John and I chose LeMont to host our wedding reception for many reasons. My Mother grew up on Hallock Street and our wedding was taking place at St. Mary’s, so obviously the location is special to us. In addition, over 75% of our guest list was from out-of-town, including the groom’s entire family and we wanted to show off my hometown. LeMont appeared to provide us with everything we wanted – but as the day got nearer, we realized we had more than just a fantastic space and a great view!

Lea and Gio handled everything beautifully – from our initial meetings, to menu tastings and discussions, to room layout and decorations.  In the final two weeks before the wedding, when I was constantly calling my other vendors to determine when deposits were due and to tie up loose ends, Gio was the one calling me, not because he needed anything, but just to “check up” on how we were doing. What a pleasant relief! During that high stress time, the one thing I was certain of is that Gio and Lea would have our entire evening under control!

When the time came for us to enter our wedding reception, I was practically floored by the beauty of the room. Everything was laid out perfectly by Lea and her staff, from our parents wedding pictures to the favor boxes. Lea guided us through the entrance and was with us all night, making sure we were on schedule and that nothing was forgotten. We ate amazing food, took in the view (with a lunar eclipse to boot!), drank our cocktails and danced the night away, never worrying about a single thing. And long after the evening, John and I continue to get compliments – even thank-you letters – from our guests about how much they enjoyed the reception.

Many thanks to all the servers, bartenders and wait staff and especially Lea Andrews and Gio Corona, for a wedding reception of a lifetime! I will never forget the joy I felt, and the joy on the faces of my parents and my in-laws, on the evening of November 8^th. John and I will enthusiastically recommend LeMont to all future brides and grooms in the Pittsburgh area.

Dear Mr. & Mrs. Dunlap:

I just had my wedding reception at LeMont on Friday, February 13, 2004  - it was the most magical night of my life!

When planning our intimate reception, I knew, because we were getting married at the venue, that the place had to have good food, as well as a great atmosphere. Over the years, Rick and I have made a hobby of dining out and have several favorite restaurants that we frequent. Many people suggested LeMont, but I had never been a fan of the food there (under the old management) and called several other restaurants. After a few weeks, I asked Augie at Bennardo’s floral shop what he thought was the best choice and he said… without a doubt, LeMont. So I came to talk to Lea and was blown away by the atmosphere, but still skeptical about the food. After several meetings with Lea, I knew that the details would be handled efficiently, and decided not to worry so much about the menu.

To make a long story short, from the time I arrived, I felt like a princess! Gio and our bartender, Don, couldn’t do enough to make every aspect of our wedding perfect.  The service was seamless – they were there attending to our every need, but not intrusive. Our guests were never without drinks (which enhanced the level of fun in the room) and everyone raved about the food. Everything was so beautifully presented and not one person (not even our 80-something parents) had one complaint. Actually, my guests all said that the appetizers and their meals were delicious and couldn’t say enough about the service! Rick and I also want to thank you for ordering such a beautiful, clear evening for us – it was a gorgeous backdrop to our wonderful affair.

In closing, I wanted you to know that you have a very capable staff who, all in all, made that night the most elegant in memory. We certainly will be frequenting your restaurant in the future and will share our experience with everyone who will listen.
